TUCSON - Today on "Let's Make a Meal," Maria Mazon from Boca stopped by with an advance taste of the Tucson Taco Festival.
Today, Maria showed us how to make Shrimp Tacos. Here's the recipe:
4 large shrimp (peeled + deveined)
salt, pepper and garlic (to taste)
Juice of 1 lemon and 1 lime
1 tbl. olive oil
1 tbl. butter
Marinate shrimp in all of the above ingredients. Either grill until done or fry in a beer batter. Top with chopped cabbage, guacamole and a salsa of your choice.
Maria will be competing in the Tucson Taco Festival, which will be held on Saturday, April 28, at Rillito Downs, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For a $10 admission, attendees get to partake in tequila, entertainment, and of course, tacos!
