Latest weather advisories for southern Arizona

TUCSON - Winter storm #2 has prompted several advisories across southern Arizona.

According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Mt. Lemmon, Graham & Greenlee Counties until 11 AM Sunday. By tomorrow morning, up to 10" snow is possible in Summerhaven and Hannagan Meadow, with 1-4" snow for areas above 4,000 feet in Graham & Greenlee Counties.

A Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect for southeastern Pinal County, starting at 6 PM tonight until 11 AM Sunday. Oracle, San Manuel and Mammoth could see 1-4" snow overnight.

Frigid temperatures overnight Sunday & overnight Monday has prompted a Freeze Watch for the Tucson metro area & south central Pinal County. By Monday and Tuesday morning, temperatures will be below 32 degrees, bringing the first freezing temps of the Fall to the lower desert.

Remember the 3 P's: cover sensitive plants & exposed water pipes and bring pets in from the outdoors.
