TUCSON - High pressure building the heat late this week.
Nice morning starts will once again give way to daytime highs well above the norm for early June. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, this afternoon tops 103 in the Old Pueblo with highs reaching 106 to wrap up the work week.
We'll see some upper level moisture creep into far Eastern Arizona over the next 48 hours courtesy of a New Mexico cold front. Cumulus cloud build-ups in the higher elevation will be seen both today and tomorrow afternoon with the slight chance of a dry thunderstorm along the AZ/NM border.
