KVOA and Professional Firefighters team up for a Season of Hope

Together KVOA and the Professional Firefighters are hosting a holiday food and toy drive benefiting the Community Food Bank and the Toys for Tots program.

The Season of Hope begins on October, 5th 2009. Starting then residents can bring non-perishable foods to any area Fire Station. Then starting November 20th - December 19th, those same Fire Stations will be drop-off sites for any new unwrapped toy.

So far the food bank has received 9,909 pounds of food. Toys for tots has 4,000 toys in their warehouse but needs to reach 60,000 toys.

Toy Donation Guidelines: Toys only, no giftcards or clothing. Drop off gifts unwrapped. Target audience is newborns to 16 years old.
