TUCSON - Las Margaritas on Oracle received 1 critical violation.
A large population of German cockroaches were visible in the grill area. Live roaches were seen inside and under equipment as well. Plus, sticky traps in the bar and server area had dead roaches on them.
The inspector says if the grill area is not cleaned better, the roach problem will not go away.
Las Margaritas on Oracle received a "Needs Improvement" rating.
Risky Business on Sunrise received 7 critical violations.
A cook was seen wiping his nose and then started whipping a sauce together. The reach-in cooler had a heavy build-up of dried on food debris directly over exposed food, so it could potentially fall in. The ceiling was leaking onto a tray holding food. Plus, a cook was changing gloves without washing his hands, after handling raw beef.
Risky Business on Sunrise received a "Needs Improvement" rating and will be re-inspected in 10 days.
News 4 Tucson spoke to the manager and he says the restaurant always does very well in the inspections and all of the violations have been corrected.
Contigo Restaurant on River, Jerry Bob's on La Canada and Buffalo Wild Wings on Irvington all received an "Excellent" rating.
