Kitchen Cops: Mexican restaurant faces reinspection

TUCSON - On this week's Kitchen Cops, a Mexican restaurant is caught, again, storing a dozen foods at unsafe temperatures, and employees at another Mexican restaurant are seen taking out the trash, then forgetting to wash their hands after.

News 4 Tucson's Brandon Gunnoe has the latest Pima County Health Inspector reports:

El Molinito on East 22nd received two critical violations. Twelve potentially hazardous foods were not being stored at a safe temperature. The problem has been noted on previous inspection reports. El Molinito on east 22nd received a needs improvement rating. We spoke with the owner, and he says they have installed a new refrigerator to fix the problem.

Los Betos on Oracle received three critical violations. Employees were observed handling trash, and then started to handle salsa cups. There was also no sanitizer in the three-compartment sink, plus several spray bottles were not labeled. Los Betos on oracle received a needs improvement rating.

Fuku Sushi on university, China Dragon on Valencia and Lovin' Spoonfuls on Campbell all received an excellent rating.
