TUCSON - The Pima County Health Inspectors are keeping track of eating establishments being naughty and nice this holiday season.

El Taco Tote, at 1340 N. Wilmot Rd., received one critical and one non-critical violation. Shelving with raw meat in a walk-in cooler had a large pool of blood on the floor beneath it. A blender and meat slicer were observed with food debris on them. All violations were corrected during the inspection, earning El Taco Tote a "Good" rating.

Totopo's Mexican Grill, at 8650 E. Speedway, received four critical violations. Clean Utensils, along with clean storage items, were found in containers soiled with dirt and food debris. Food items in a refrigeration unit tested above the required minimum 41-degrees. Raw eggs tested at 55-degrees, diced ham at 50-degrees and cooked chicken at 49-degrees. Other food items were not properly date-marked. All violations were corrected with the inspector on site, giving Totopo's Mexican Grill a "Good" rating.

Owner Claudia Borboa said, "After getting an excellent in our last review we got a little confident with our process. Staff has been retrained and new policies have been implemented to prevent this from happening again."

Last week we told you about China A Super Buffet, at 75 W. River Rd., receiving a "Provisional" rating. We incorrectly identified Daniel Lu as the restaurant's owner. The Pima County Health Department has confirmed that China A Super Buffet passed re-inspection.

Restaurants awarded excellent ratings include, Casa Molina Del Norte, at 3001 N. Campbell, Golden Dragon Restaurant, at 4704 E. Sunrise and Flavor Of India, at 12112 N. Rancho Vistoso Boulevard.
