TUCSON - Hot and dry this weekend with slight storm chances coming next week.
The first official weekend of summer starts right where spring left off, hot and dry. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, we'll bring that triple digit streak well over 20 straight days with highs between 102-105 this weekend.
A low pressure disturbance moving through the Great Basin region will bring us some more high clouds and afternoon wind gusts. For both Saturday and Sunday expect mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions out of the west to 20mph.
Some monsoon signs show up a little later next week. As an area of high pressure sets up over the four corners more monsoon moisture could find its way into Southern Arizona. For now we'll call for a few isolated mountain storms by the middle of next week.
