TUCSON - Wednesday's food contributor Jennifer English from The Food & Wine Radio Network cooked up some Lamburgers.
Here is what you need:
1 1/2 # freshly ground lamb
2 cloves garlic finely minced
1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
good sea salt & freshly ground pepper to taste
4-6 really good rolls, split & buttered
With gentle hands mix the ground lamb, garlic, lemon juice, salt & pepper.
Form mixture into four burger patties of even size and thickness, 1".
These taste best when grilled, real coals or wood taste the best.
Lamburgers should cook 10-12 minutes. Let rest 5-8 minutes.
Rub the insides of the split buns with a clove of garlic, then toast lightly on the grill.
