TUCSON - Decaying tropical system will make for active monsoon day across Arizona.
As Ivo winds down in the Pacific deep moisture continues to stream north into the region. Showers and thunderstorms will develop throughout the day with heavy rain being the main threat.
The deepest moisture and main focus for the heaviest rainfall will again be west of the Tucson metro. A Flash Flood Watch is still in effect for west Pima County until 5pm this evening including the cities of Sells and Ajo. A Flash Flood Watch means conditions are favorable for widespread flash flooding to occur.
Remnant moisture of Ivo will linger into Monday bringing another round of scattered storms to Southern Arizona. Stay with News 4 Tucson on-air and on-line for further Monsoon Storm Alert updates.
