TUCSON - Isabel Celis' co-ed baseball team played Tuesday night at Freedom Park. All of her teammates wore Isabel's number, the number 4 on their jersey. "Her team is missing her, and we're trying to help them cope with that," said Rebecca Hanna, a friend of the family.
To help cope, families held a candlelight vigil after the game. One of Isabel's friends who was playing with her the night before she disappeared, has had a lot of questions for her mother. "I've been saying when is her going to be back, is her going to get found, I think her not," said Peyton Hanna Iris.
Isabel's father Sergio gave a friend of his and fellow coach a message to pass along, that they appreciate the support and are sorry they couldn't be there.
"He also did mention that they were allowed to go to the house today to pick up a few things. It was still too hard for them. It still feels like it's the 1st day it's happening, so Sergio, Becky if you're listening, our prayers are with you and we hope that we find Isabel soon," said Joe Vega, a friend of the family's.
