TUCSON - An injured hiker was rescued Saturday.
Golder Ranch Firefighters, along with Pima County Sheriff's Department and Department of Public Safety rangers responded to the Catalina State Park to help a hiker at Romero Pools.
They got a report of a woman in her twenties, suffering an injury while diving into the pools.
Due to the location of the patient, the decision was made to utilize DPS Ranger helicopter to remove her from the scene.
The patient was then flown to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
