TUCSON - The 10-month-old girl found in a bathtub full of water, has died and the woman who was supposed to be caring for her is now facing a murder charge.
Tucson Police say Winter Breeze Azure was removed from life support Monday and later died.
Emergency crews responded to a report of a child not breathing and unconscious inside an apartment in the 3600 block of North Campbell Avenue on June 12th.
27-year-old Zada Davis was arrested shortly after and charged with one count of felony child abuse.
Police arrested Davis again today with an added charge of second degree murder.
At the time of the initial call for help, Police say Davis left the water running with toys in the tub for the baby to play with. She left Winter alone in the bathroom for about ten minutes. When she came back, police say the bathtub was overflowing with water, and the child was floating in the water.
