TUCSON - An open house on the Ina Road and bridge corridor will be held next Wednesday, Aug. 22nd.
The Arizona Department of Transportation and Town of Marana are hosting the open house to show the final design plans for the Ina Road and Bridge corridor between Silverbell Road and Star Commerce Way.
The open house will be held at Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr. Branch Library from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
According to ADOT, the project will improve traffic capacity and circulation. Work includes widening the roadway to four lanes, reconstruction and widening of the bridge over the Santa Cruz River and raising the median and pedestrian facilities.
The community is encouraged to ask questions and provide comments on the proposed improvements. Team members will be available to answer questions and discuss individual and property-specific concerns. Maps and displays will be available for review.
