TUCSON - All lanes of traffic and highway ramps have reopened following a fatal accident on Interstate 19 that occurred this morning, DPS officers confirmed.

Officers say a Honda passenger vehicle and a Ford pickup were southbound on I-19 in the middle lane of traffic. The Honda passenger vehicle rear ended the pickup, causing the pickup to veer to the right and run off the road. The pickup rolled over and the driver, a female, was ejected. She died from her injuries.

The driver of the Honda was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
