Human remains found in a wash in northwestern Ariz

GOLDEN VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in northwestern Arizona say human remains have been found in a wash in Golden Valley.

Mohave County Sheriff's officials say deputies were called to a desert area Saturday after hikers reported finding the remains.

Authorities say the badly decomposed remains appear to be from a man.

They're working to identify the remains and say the cause of death will come from an autopsy.
