Hot Shot crews fight more than 360 acre fire

SIERRA VISTA - More than 360 acres have burned in the Huachuca mountains near Sierra Vista since the Brown fire sparked on Sunday.

As of Tuesday afternoon a Coronado National Forest spokesperson says the fire has burned 366 acres and was 0% contained.

60 hot shot crew members took helicopters Tuesday to the top on the canyon where they are working to fight the fire.

There are hot shot crews from Ironwood, Silver City, and Prescott.

The Cochise County sheriff's department passed out pre-evacuation notices to around 150 residents in the Ramsey Canyon area warning residents about the fire and letting them know if it gets worse they may have to evacuate.

Hot shot crews will be spending the night in the canyon as they continue to fight the fire.
