With Halloween three weeks away, the pressure is on to come up with the right costume.
The people at Halloween Express located on Ina Rd. near Magee Rd. say each year a few costumes dominate the trick or treat and Halloween party scene.
Store owner Stacey Nichols says this year their Barack Obama and Michael Jackson inventory is flying off the shelves, "Then you get somebody that comes in, they have something in mind, then they see something else they like better."
She says current action movie themes are a ‘can't miss' for boys. "You've got the Spiderman, the Batman, the Transformers and the Ninja Turtles. Little girls like to keep with tradition. The cheerleaders to the Disney characters are is still very popular with them."
Nichols says parents concerned about their teenage daughter dressing too provocatively are covered. "We've got very sexy costumes but we also have ones that kind of follow along that line but are more age appropriate for a teenager."
Nichols says Halloween costumes have evolved over recent years and there's something for everyone. "Lot's of funny ones. The fuzzy chicken or you got the sugar daddy."
The Halloween Express has two locations in Tucson and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
