More fallout follows the announcement that burger patties may not have been 100-percent beef.
Burger King cut ties, Thursday, with European supplier Silvercrest Foods, after finding traces of horse meat in beef patties at a Silvercrest facility.
Tesco, a U.K.-based grocery store chain, has also terminated what is reported to be a multi-million-euro contract with Silvercrest.
The company provided beef for Burger King restaurants in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Denmark.
Burger King says the tainted product appeared to have come from a sub-contracted supplier in Poland.
The tained meat, Burger King says, was never sold in restaurants.
