Homeland Security Secretary to announce new Southwest Border Counternarcotics Strategy

WASHINGTON D.C. - Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano and Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Gil Kerlikowske will travel to Nogales, Ariz. on Thursday, July 7.
The officials will join U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Alan Bersin to announce the Obama Administration's 2011 Southwest Border Counternarcotics Strategy-strengthening enforcement efforts to combat the illicit trafficking of drugs into the United States.
