TUCSON - Investigators from the Department of Homeland Security shot at a person in the Santa Cruz Lanes parking lot Saturday night, according to Sgt. Maria Hawke with the Tucson Police Department.
The suspect was in a car when the officer fired, according to Hawke.
The suspect had minor injuries but was not hit by the gunfire, according to Hawke.
The Department of Homeland Security led the investigation, but Tucson Police assisted.
Tucson Police officers were called to help federal investigators around 4:30 p.m. When they arrived they helped close down the parking lot. TPD also helped with the officer involved shooting investigation.
Santa Cruz Lanes was on lockdown after the shooting.
When bowlers and employees were allowed to leave, police did not let them drive their cars home if they were in the crime scene.
