TUCSON - The warmer weather heading into spring is good news on the job front.
The Home Depot announced today that it will hire 80,000 spring seasonal associates across the country for what is traditionally their busiest time of year. That is 10,000 more hires than last year's spring season.
In Tucson, The Home Depot stores are expected to hire at least 300 people to kick off the spring season. The stores are predicting a significant increase in sales this spring.
Job opportunities range from part-time to full-time and vary from store to store based on need and location. Store executives say many employees have found long-lasting careers as a result of seasonal work.
Job seekers can begin their online application process now.
