TUCSON - As part of continuing coverage of the "Hiring Our Heroes" initiative, NBC News has supported hundreds of Veterans Job Fairs around the country, including one in Tucson today.

A Veterans Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the American Legion John P. Burns Post 36, located at 5845 E. 22nd St.

To date, NBC News has helped more than 10,000 veterans find jobs.

The local partners for this job fair are the American Legion, the Department of Labor's Veterans Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Arizona Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Department of Labor s Veterans Employment and Training Services (DOL VETS), and the Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces.
