TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - An Arizona wildfire has burned 533 acres south of Tucson. The U.S. Forest Service said Monday about 130 firefighters are continuing to work the Hilton fire in the Empire Hills north of Sonoita.
The fire started Saturday in dry brush and grass on private lands and land covered by the Bureau of Land Management. The fire is about 60 percent contained.
If weather conditions remain the same, fire managers are not expecting the fire to increase in size. The only visible smoke is from within the fire perimeter. Structure protection is in place on private land. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
