TUCSON - Two people got into a life threatening situation while hiking Saturday.
The married couple were at Finger Rock Trail when they called 9-1-1.
They said they were out of water and dehydrated.
Pima County Sheriff's Department search and rescue crews tracked them down using the GPS on their cell phone.
A helicopter lifted them to a waiting medical response team.
They were treated and then they drove home.
