TUCSON - Mcmahon's Prime Steakhouse on N Swan Rd. received 10 critical violations. One of the front line cooks had a small cut on his thumb. Shortly after, the cook was observed on the line with the thumb section of his glove full of blood. A reach-in cooler had rusted racks that were flaking onto the food under them and a chef was observed cracking raw eggs and then used the same gloved hands to handle fresh mushrooms.
There were 7 more critical violations. Mcmahon's Prime Steakhouse on N Swan Rd. is now operating under a "Provisional" license.
News 4 Tucson spoke to the general manager. He tells me their #1 priority is safeguarding their guests. They are taking this very seriously and the chef responsible for the violations has been terminated.
Olive Garden on Broadway received 1 critical violation.
The reach-in refrigerator on the cook line was not storing mashed potatoes at a safe temperature, turns out, it was unplugged. Olive Garden on Broadway received a "Good" rating.
We told you 2 weeks ago about Los Beto's on W Ajo not even having hot water and receiving a provisional rating, Los Betos passed its re-inspection.
Teresa's Mosaic Café on N Silver Mosaic Drive, Mandarin Grill on Grant and Red Lobster on Oracle all received an "Excellent" rating.
