PHOENIX -An 18-mile stretch of Interstate 40 is closed west of Flagstaff Saturday because the roadway is flooded from heavy rainfall, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The highway is closed for eastbound travelers at milepost 143 and at milepost 161 for westbound drivers. There is no estimated time to reopen the highway.
