TUCSON- A head-on crash killed a man Sunday.

It happened around 5am in Midtown.

According to Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department, a 20-year-old man was driving westbound near I-10 and Grant Road, when he jumped the median and struck another vehicle head-on.

The other driver, a 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 20-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Widmer says alcohol was a factor in the accident and the driver will be charged with second-degree murder once he's released from the hospital.
