TUCSON- As of Feburary 25th, Habitat for Humanity Tucson moved into their new office building thanks to the 94 donors who contributed near $2 million to the rehab.
Join Habitat for Humanity Tucson in celebration of their new space, which is four times as big as their old office, on Friday, April 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. The building is located at 3501 N. Mountain Ave.
The innovation was gifted to Habitat Tucson by the Margaret E. Mooney Foundation and refurbished through the charitable support of the community. The William S. Anheuser Foundation started the campaign with $500,000 last summer.
"We feel so blessed to have received this hand-up just like the one our homeowners get when they move into their Habitat home," said Michael McDonald, Habitat for Humanity Tucson Executive Director. "We value ownership and we are excited to be celebrating our new home with the many people who made it possible!"
The innovative building contains features such as: community classroom, a fresh looking design, an indoor bike storage, water cisterns, and air plants- intended for the community and Habitat's staff desires in mind.
"We value ownership and we are excited to be celebrating our new home with the many people who made it possible!" said McDonald.
