TUCSON - Winds return this afternoon followed by cooler temperatures later this week.
Another storm system will bring elevated wind gusts back to southern Arizona starting this afternoon. Expect 30-35mph wind gusts to wrap up the weekend as a storm system moves off to our north.
The pressure gradient tightens up as the storm system deepens over the western states early in the work week. Winds peak both Monday and Tuesday afternoon with gusts between 35-40mph in Tucson and 45-50mph in areas east of the metro. Blowing dusts and a high fire danger is expected during this period.
Cooler temperatures return to the forecast by midweek as the 70s return for Wednesday and Thursday. Check out your True View 4 extended forecast by clicking here.
