Gusty winds bring cooler temps

TUCSON - After another gusty and dusty spring day the breezy conditions set to return tomorrow.

Whipping winds continued all afternoon and evening long across Southern Arizona. The Old Pueblo reported a peak wind gusts of 40mph at Tucson International Airport while parts of Cochise County recorded gusts above 45mph.

A Wind Advisory and Blowing Dust Advisory will remain in effect through 7pm with the winds slowly tapering off into the evening hours. However, breezy conditions are back as soon as Thursday afternoon with winds between 15-25mph.

Gusty winds will usher in some cooler air to round out the work week. After topping out at 83° this afternoon we'll shoot for a daytime high of 73° on Thursday. This will be our first below average daytime high in nearly two weeks.

A warm up takes back off as we head into the upcoming weekend. Check out your True View 4 extended forecast by clicking here.
