TUCSON - Two people arrested on charges of growing marijuana appeared in video court Wednesday.
Zachary Morales, 26, and Jennifer Parcelluzzi, 24, were arrested Tuesday night by U.S. Marshals and Pima County Sheriff's fugitive strike team at house in the 12,600 block of East Horsehead Road.
The suspects were being served with felony warrants for a possession of marijuana charge at the time, according to a release from Pima County Sherrifs.
Detectives with PCSD's fugitive strike team saw an "extensive marijuana grow at the property" during the delivery of those warrants. That prompted detectives to obtain a search warrant.
Here's a photo of what was found:
The search revealed 117 marijuana plants and numerous bags of harvested marijuana. Several guns, two vehicles and money were also seized.
Morales and Parcelluzzi were arrested on the warrants and also with child abuse. A 2-week-old child was found in the house.
