Group moves convention out of state to boycott SB 1070

PHOENIX - Another organization has decided to boycott Arizona because of its controversial illegal immigration law.
The National Minority Supplier Development Council was supposed to hold its conference in Phoenix from October 24-27 but has now changed the location to Miami Beach, Florida.
According to a statement on the group's website, "The decision to relocate the conference was made as a result of the concerns of NMSDC's members and constituents about the impact of Arizona SB 1070. The bill is inconsistent with the ideals and principles upon which the NMSDC operates, including valuing diversity and inclusion for all."
