TUCSON - The Carondelet Foundation's Annual Dinner will be held on May 15, and will feature six-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter, and former UA basketball player, Harvey Mason, Jr.

The good and bad news is that the Carondelet Foundation's annual fundraiser is sold out. Proceeds from the dinner, being held at Loews Ventana Canyon, will go to Carondelet Foundation Fund for Excellence. According to event organizers, this fund is used to:

• Support physicians and healthcare professionals in their delivery of exceptional medical services and programs;
• Purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment;
• Fund capital renovations and improvements; and
• Provide resources for health and wellness education.

Harvey Mason, Jr., a former member of the University of Arizona men's basketball team, will be the special guest. Mason, Jr. is also a six-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter, and a record and movie producer. He has written songs and produced music for talent including Beyonce, Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake.
