TUCSON - Temperatures are back on the rise to start the weekend.
After wrapping up the work week in the upper 80s a warming trend starts today with a forecast high of 94, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Enough moisture will hang around this afternoon to support a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the higher elevations of southern Arizona.
High pressure building off the west coast will keep temperatures on the rise for the next several days. Daytime highs will remain above average and in the mid to upper 90s throughout the next week with overnight lows falling in to the upper 60s. Generally sunny skies and clear nights will dominate from Sunday through the work week.
