TUCSON - The great rain wait is almost over, desert dwellers.
Dry conditions prevail again this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Under mostly sunny skies, highs peak in the 100's for the 49th time this year in Tucson. There is a slight chance of a stray storm in the Chiricahua Mountains later today.
Monsoon moisture slowly creeps back in by the weekend. Saturday sees isolated storms over Cochise, Graham and Greenlee Counties. By Sunday, a slight chance of isolated storms returns for Tucson & all of southeastern Arizona.
Hit & miss isolated storms should remain in the forecast for the upcoming work week.
