Free summer camps offered at UA Public Health

TUCSON - Children can keep busy this summer at University of Arizona's Healthy 2 B Me Summer Camp for Kids.

During the months of June and July, the UA Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health is offering a series of week-long summer camps for children ages 7-10. Located at the UA Recreation Center (1400 E. Sixth Street), the prgram's activities focus on wellness and include nutrition, cooking, swimming and dance.

The cost for each session is $345.00. However, the college is offering free financial aid and scholarship applications can be found on the Healthy 2 B Me summer Camp for 2013 website.

The camp sessions are June 24-28 and July 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
