TUCSON - Free CPR lessons are being offered all over the city Saturday in an effort to save those who become victims of cardiac arrest.
Around 70 volunteers from the University of Arizona medical school will be teaching compression-only CPR.
Elaine Situ, a University of Arizona medical student, said, "The chest-compression-only CPR is a very important lifesaving technique that the public should learn to know, because if they ever witness someone have sudden cardiac arrest they will know exactly what to do to increase the likelihood of that person surviving."
The event goes on from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
The locations are Foothills Mall, Charondelet St. Joseph's Hospital, Oro Valley Northwest Hospital, University Medical Center, Carondelet St. Mary's Hospital, and Tucson Classic Car Show.
