Former press secretary Jim Brady's death ruled a homicide

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The District of Columbia's medical examiner ruled the death of Ronald Reagan's former press secretary Jim Brady as a homicide Friday.

According to the medical examiner, the injuries Brady sustained during the attempted assassination of Reagan in 1981 resulted in his death.

The gunman in the assassination attempt,John Hinckley Jr., could be charged with Brady's murder in federal court.

Brady passed away on Aug 4 at the age of 73.
