TUCSON - Former Pima Community College softball standout Stacey Ramirez has signed a national letter of intent with West Texas A&M, according to a press release Friday.
Ramirez, a short stop, batted .419 in her 59 games a year ago. She also boasted 26 RBIs and 11 steals.
West Texas A&M captured the 2014 NCAA Division II Championship with former Pima and Mountain View star Jessica Sipe. She helped lead the Lady Buffs to a 60-7 record, only the fourth program in DII history to win 60 games and a national title.
