FLORENCE, Ariz. - The Department of Parks and Recreation in Florence, Arizona is hosting the annual Gingerbread House Contest during Florence's Christmas on Main Street Festival.

The contest will be on Friday, December 7, 2012. It is open to the public and registrations are between 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.; judging will take place at 7:30 p.m.

According to a news release, there will be first-place awards for the two categories of the contest, best edible and best non-edible.
