TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for southeastern Pima, northern Santa Cruz and southwestern Cochise Counties until 3:15 PM. This includes the cities of Green Valley, Sahuarita and Sonoita.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, a cluster of storms over the Santa Rita Mountains is capable of at least an inch of rain, causing area streams and washes to start flowing. Storms are tracking northwest at 10 MPH, toward Green Valley and Sahuarita.
Additional advisories include a Flash Flood Warning until 4 PM for south central Pima County including the city of Sells & a Flood Advisory for central Cochise County until 2:15 PM.
