TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch from noon today until 1 AM Wednesday. This includes all of southern Arizona.
Ample moisture interacts with a mid-level disturbance over the next 24 hours, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. The potential exists for heavy rainfall with any storm that develops. Numerous storms are in the forecast, especially this afternoon and tonight.
0.50-1.50" rain is possible through tomorrow morning, with isolated higher amounts near 2" for a few locations. Washes and streams may fill up quickly.
