FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Coconino County authorities say a woman has been booked into jail after she allegedly tried to kill her husband late Tuesday night.
The Sheriff's Office arrested 40-year-old Kari Bauer after her 54-year-old husband was shot in the face.
After the shooting, the victim drove himself to a neighbor's home and asked for help.
The neighbor helped aid the victim even driving him to the Flagstaff Medical Center.
As the victim was being treated a second gun shot wound was located on his back.
Bauer was booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility on one count of attempted homicide and is being held on a $100,000 cash or secured bond.
Coconino County Sheriff's Deputies and Detectives are continuing to investigate.
The Sheriff's Office has not released the victim's name.
