TUCSON - Daytime highs continue to tumble going into the weekend.
Temperatures are still riding slightly above average with a daytime high of 92 but will continue to to trend downward over the next week. As our area of high pressure breaks down temperatures will come down a degree or two each day through the start of the work week.
A big pattern change comes to southern Arizona by midweek. Our first fall cool down will be felt by Thursday as a low pressure system drops daytime highs down into the low 80s. Enough moisture may stick with this system to support an isolated shower or two late in the week.
