The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation is preparing to launch its very first community campaign in Tucson. The objective is to raise awareness when it comes to AIDS and HIV.
Some of the goals are to get people tested and provide more information to the community.
According to SAAF, one in four people don't know they're infected and say the numbers are especially high in young adults.
To try and reduce those number young volunteers are participating in the campaign.
Volunteer Tierra Prewitt said, "It doesn't have to increase; we can stop it and I wanted to be apart of that I wanted to be apart of something that can change peoples lives."
SAAF is plannig to launch the campaign sometime in January.
