TUCSON - From the low 70s to the mid 90s in a matter of days.
Thanks to an upper level disturbance moving through Northern Arizona, Tucson topped out at 73° this afternoon which is 6° below average. The virga showers we had today will clear out through the night and Sunday will see sunny skies and a high near 77°.
High pressure takes over by the beginning of the work week and we'll see our first 90° day in nearly six months. Temperatures peak on Wednesday with a forecast high of 94°. Tucson normally records its first 90° on April 9th so it will be coming in right on time this year.
