TUCSON - Tucson Fire responded to the scene of a mobile home fire in midtown, late last night.
The fire started just before 11 p.m. Monday night near Pima and Columbus. Tucson Fire says when they arrived, one home was engulfed with flames. Crews then knocked down the walls to keep the fire from spreading.
Nearby mobile homes and a daycare center had some exterior damage. The mobile home was vacant, and Red Cross was not called in. Two weeks ago, Tucson Fire responded to the same home for another fire.
The cause and damage of this recent fire is still under investigation. For more on this story tune into Tucson Today starting at 5 A.M.
