Fire located on Mount Lemmon

TUCSON - An active fire in Spencer Canyon has closed Mount Lemmon to all traffic at the base.
According to Pima County Sheriff's spokesperson Deputy Dawn Barkman, an active fire has been located in Spencer Canyon, at Mile Post 21 on Catalina Highway. Officials believe the fire was caused by a lightning strike.
At this time, the mountain is not being evacuated.
