NEAR FT. BOWIE - A wildfire is burning near the Ft. Bowie area.

The Forest service tells News 4 Tucson the Apache Pass fire started Monday on Bureau of Land Management Land.

About 500 acres have burned so far, but the fire is not threatening any structures.

Eight crews are on the scene right now, with an air attack scheduled to begin Tuesday morning.

It is believed to be human caused.
